2008 Habanos Collection Book - Cohiba Sublime Extra
Thursday, March 12th, 2009The Cohiba Sublime Extra is the vitola chosen by Habanos S.A. for 2008 Habanos Collection Series (Colección Habanos), also known as the Habanos Books. Dedicated to Cohiba, Habanos’ most exclusive and well known brand, the 8th volume of this series features this brand new vitola, the Cohiba Sublime Extra, a supercharged Sublime, measuring 54 gauge by 7.2″. A considerable length, a beautiful girth comprising a well balanced blend, an excellent draw, a refined aroma and the Cohiba´s unique taste are the features that really stands out in this release. It is definitely one of the greatest smokes to ever come out of the island.

The leaves used for this Cohiba Edition are the “cream of the crop” and come from the San Juan y Martinez and San Luis zones of the Vuelta Abajo region. As all Cohiba cigars, the filler leaves, seco and ligero, undergo a third fermentation in barrels, which adds smoothness to the blend.

Only 1000 numbered humidors have been brought out to the market and they are quickly going. We have found them in a reputable online source and priced them; if you want to make them yours, they will set you back around €1500! Cigarone.com, have a limited amount of these boxes in stock at the moment and if you are interested you better grab one fast before they disappear! If you want to try before you buy, you can also purchase two single cigars for €153.

I was in the Decent Cigar Emporium the other day and they are splitting a box at 70 (ish) euro each… so damn tempting. Also splitting the Trinidad Torre Iznagas at (i think) 55 each. ALSO splitting some lovely aged Bolivars. My credit card hurts
Paul
Hi Paul, good to see you around!
The Sublime Extras and the Torre Iznagas are cigars that you ll only get the chance to smoke them once!
I have a Sublime Extra coming to me in the next few days, cant wait to get it inmy hands!!!
CigarOne lists these at 54 ring gauge x 467 mm / 18.4 in long
18 inches?
Hi Steve,
It’s not as long as 2 Monte A’s together, I think they mixed up milimetres with inches. They are 184mm long, not 18.4″.
That would have been the most expensive broomstick in the world!
