Cigar smoking is one of the greatest pleasures in life; at least this is the opinion of Yiorgos and Mark, friends and founders of cigars.ie.

Yiorgos and Mark, cigar lovers living in Dublin, Ireland, realised that the experience of a good cigar can be enhanced in good company. With this in mind they created Ireland’s first online blog with the intention of joining with other cigar lovers to exchange knowledge and experiences.

Mark Finn

Mark has been smoking cigars since 2002. As time passed he found that his appreciation began to grow. The world of cigars opened up to Mark as he began to meet other cigar smokers and industry professionals, who offered a different perspective and an opportunity for discussion on what he found an intriguing subject.

As a distraction from his busy schedule of studying part-time, working as a professional youth worker and musician, Mark enjoys the pleasure of a fine cigar and all that accompanies it.

Yiorgos Manesis

Originally from Greece, Yiorgos moved to Ireland in 2004. It was a year after he was introduced to the world of cigars, when Mark offered him what he remembers to be his first Cohiba Robusto.

Since then, Yiorgos has developed a keen interest in the cigar industry and is continiously trying to further his knowledge of all its dimensions.

While his family and work are his highest priority, he has found his pursuit of cigars to be more than just a hobby; a passion.
