The Lonsdales of Christmas - Starting Dec 24th

It is Christmas again, and a great time to take out those special cigars from the bottom of the humidor. Last year we went through a robusto for each one of the 12 days of Christmas. It was great fun so I decided to to it again this year, only with a different size. The size I have opted for for this year is the Lonsdale. As “Lonsdales” we would consider cigars that are either “Dalias” (43 x 170) or “Cervantes” (42 x 165).

With so many Lonsdale on offer, I couldn’t make my mind up on which 12 would make it to the shortlist; so I decided to smoke as many of them as I could get my hands on, making a total of 20 cigars! 11 of them are discontinued, while 9 of them are in current production, 2 of them are limited edition, 1 is a regional, and 4 of them are aged for at least 10 years.

It is a little difficult to go through (and review) 20 cigars in 12 days, so I will e posting one review every day, starting on Christmas Eve, and finishing on January 12th. Stay tuned and give your own feedback while we go through almost every single Lonsdale still in existence.
