Dublin Herf - July 10th 2009
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009On Friday July 10th, five of us met in the usual spot, in George’s Wine Bar, for yet another smoking session. The weather in Dublin was auful and some of our regular attendees were lucky enough to be in a sunnier place. Anyone not there missed a good night though, with plenty of cigars, cigar talk and fine wine. One of the main topics on discussion was the newly introduced tobacco legislations; were all delighted that our cigar shops can still display their stocks and hopefully this will stay the same.
We are currently working on a format for the future herfs. We are thinking of establishing a certain day of every month, i.e. on the last Thursday or the first Friday of every month, to make it easier for everybody to plan ahead. Also, we are looking into featuring a cigar in every meeting, that we can tall then rate and review. Please give us any feedback or ideas that you may have.
The next herf will take place around the end of the month. We will keep you informed about date and time and we hope to see you there. If you wish to receive emails from cigars.ie regarding our regular meetings, please leave a comment on this post, with your email address in the appropriate field.
