In Our Memory Of: 2012 Deletions
Monday, October 3rd, 2011As I mentioned in a previous post, Habanos’ deletion list for 2012 is long and ugly… Classic cigars such as the Bolivar Corona Extra and the Hoyo Churchill, a well as some great cigars like Trinidad Robusto T, Robusto Extra and the La Gloria Cubana Tainos will no longer be with us from next year. Thirteen vitolas in total will be axed; half of them will not be missed that much, but the presence of the other half has caused uproar within the cigar-lover communities. The list is as follows:
Bolivar Corona Extra
Fonseca No.1
Hoyo de Monterrey Churchill
La Gloria Cubana Tainos
Punch Petit Corona del Punch
El Rey del Mundo Petit Corona
Romeo y Julieta Corona
Romeo y Julieta Petit Princess
Sancho Panza Molinos
Trinidad Robusto T
Trinidad Robusto Extra
Vegas Robaina Clasicos
Vegas Robaina Familiar
Going through the list, I had promised to get as many of these as I could and give them a good fair well. I have collected 12 out of the 13 cigars on the list and I will be smoking them in the next few weeks, trying to figure out which of these we shall wave goodbye to happily and which we should stock up before they disappear. Stay tuned!

I gotta tell you, the loss of the Trinidad Robusto T was something we could see coming as soon as we saw the price of those cigars.. They were tasty but ouch, the price… Something tells me that there are warehouses full of them somewhere
Great site BTW, I love reading what you have to say.. Come to Canada some time and we’ll have a cigar!
+1 on the Trinidad price .. sad to see them go though, especially because I haven’t got the finances to stock up
Also too bad about the small size Robainas ..
OMG
.. definitely will miss both trinidad’s
