You are spot on about the price gentlemen, the Robusto T is the second most expensive robusto on the market. And although one could argue that Trinidads have always been made with higher grade tobacco, it’s price tag makes it hard for it to compete with robustos that are around for years and are well established in the market.

@Dennis: Thank you very much my friend, I would love to come to Canada some time.

@Bogner: They are still available almost everywhere, but I am convinced this wont last for too long… I would love to put a couple of boxes away for 10 years and then dig in them. Trust me, Trinidads with 10 years of age are amazing!

I felt that the H. Upmann Magnum 48 was a rock star!!! Started off in it’s youth as being sweet and full of notes of dried fruit…

but……

It is aging into a classic beauty.. I loved it yound and old ( er )

3: La Aurora Preferio Maduro Perfecto.
4: Gurka Beauty Toro.
5: Oliva Serie V Belicoso.

1. h upmann magnum 48 EL2009 (the best of the 2009 el’s in my opinion)
2. partagas serie d no. 4 (my favourite cuban, always perfect)
3. romeo y julieta duke EL2009 (a fantastic cigar)

1. Ashton Aged Maduro no.10. A robusto, I worked my way through a box of these during the year. Make sure you’re sitting down when you smoke one !
2. Monte No. 3. Still one of the best coronas out there - if you get a good one.
3. ERdM Choix Supreme. very smooth.

Mine would have to be :

1. Romeo & Julieta Duke LE 2009. I’ve had a few of these this year and loved every one !

2. Montecristo Petit Edmundo. Can’t beat it for a short smoke (i.e. when you have to smoke outdoors)

3. The Dara/Berta robusto that was produced in the basement of Foxs last friday….The creamiest cigar I’ve ever smoked !

Limited and regionals are included, but not rare cigars or collector’s editions, like the Sublime extras, the gran reservas and the Behikes
